With atmospheric seaside towns, awe-inspiring coastline and the ceaseless sweep of their magic moorlands, South Devon and Cornwall are two of the UK’s most enticing holiday destinations. Tucked away on the South West peninsula, the area boasts a unique and fiercely independent regional culture and can often feel like a world of its own. Walking along the harbourfront of a small Cornish village can often feel like little has changed for centuries in this picturesque corner of the UK.
On your accessible South Devon and Cornwall holiday, we’ll show you the best the South West has to offer. We’ll be based out of the vibrant port town of Plymouth, where we’ll learn a little about the region’s naval history and from which we’ll explore the surrounding area on our fully accessible coach.
We’ve arranged for excursions to the spectacular Cornish town of Looe, which straddles the River Looe and is renowned for its beaches, bridges and bustling streets. While we’re there, we’ll visit the Old Sardine Heritage Centre for a little insight into the town's fishy history and also stop for a classic Cornish pasty. There will also be visits to the Devonshire market town of Tavistock and an adventure in the wild Dartmoor National Moors, which is home to some of the country’s most exhilarating landscapes.
Your accessible Plymouth hotel has been hand-picked by the Limitless Team for its superb location and excellent disabled facilities. A Limitless Travel representative will accompany the tour group throughout the holiday, providing assistance whenever required and ensuring you receive the support you need.

Cornish Town of Looe
As well as exploring the town’s quaint streets and shops, there will also be a chance to soak up the sun on the beach. If you’re interested in the area’s history, we recommend taking the time to visit the Old Sardine Heritage Centre and if you’re feeling a little peckish, don’t forget to stop by Sarah’s Cornish Pasty Shop for a taste of some traditional Cornish fare.
Dartmoor National Park & Tavistock Cream Tea
After some lunch in a cool cafe that’s contained within an old, converted police station, we’ll board the coach and travel to the famous market town Tavistock. As well as taking the time to experience the market and browse the stalls, we’ll be stopping for a traditional Devonshire cream tea to round out the day.
