After boarding the fully accessible coach at one of our UK meeting points, we’ll make our way to our disabled-friendly hotel near Windsor. Travellers in wheelchairs can choose to remain in their chair, which will be safely secured into place throughout the journey, or transfer to a standard seat.
On arrival at your wheelchair accessible accommodation, you’ll be able to refresh with a complimentary cup of tea (or a cocktail, if you prefer). Then the Limitless Team will help you check-in and get your bags to your room. There will be a little time to settle in and make yourself comfortable before your delicious dinner is served!
After a fantastic breakfast in the hotel, we will board our accessible transport and head into Windsor to visit Royal Windsor Castle. Looking spectacularly well appointed for Christmas Eve, the castle will be ready for the festivities and looking its holiday best.
At the castle, you will enjoy a tour of the State Apartment, which tells the story of the British monarchy’s fascinating history. Today, the State Apartments are still used by the Queen on important state and ceremonial occasions. Windsor Castle is also home to the famous St George’s Chapel, where many of the country’s previous kings and queens were laid to rest. The royal tombs include Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour, as well as Charles I.
During the excursion, there will be a chance to stop for a lunchtime refreshment. The castle is situated in the town centre of Windsor and allows for easy access to cafes and restaurants. At the end of the day, we’ll once again board the accessible coach to tuck into an excellent dinner back at the hotel.
