Holiday Overview

One of the most iconic seaside towns in the UK, Blackpool is located on a spectacular stretch of coastline and within touching distance of the picture-perfect Lake District National Park. On your accessible Blackpool Illuminations holiday, we'll take advantage of both of these features, so you experience the best the north-west has to offer.

Renowned for its Pleasure Beach, piers and impressive illuminations, Blackpool is a quintessentially English seaside destination. With its long promenade packed with souvenir shops, cafes and attractions, there's plenty to see and do while enjoying the fresh sea breeze blow in off the Irish Sea. During our stay, we'll ride to the top of the Blackpool Tower for unparalleled views of the local area and drive the Golden Mile as the sun sets to see the bright lights of the Blackpool Illuminations.

You'll also spend two days discovering the outstanding natural beauty of the Lake District National Park. With a visit to a working farm and a cruise across Lake Windermere on a fully accessible boat, this is the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and enjoy a little slice of rural paradise.
