Ho ho ho, it’s Christmas! Join us on a wonderfully festive holiday and celebrate Christmas Day on the South Coast alongside the Limitless Team and your fellow travellers on our disabled friendly Christmas in Devon tour.
Enjoy a special holiday getaway on the beautiful Devonshire coast with our fantastic Christmas in Devon Tour. As well as enjoying a sumptuous Christmas dinner with all the trimmings on the big day itself, we’ve organised a range of exciting activities and excursions that are sure to make this a Christmas to remember.
You’ll have the opportunity to explore the city’s atmospheric Christmas markets and maybe even enjoy a glass or two of mulled wine. We'll also take a trip with an evening ride on the eye-catching Train of Lights - an authentic steam train that’s decorated with thousands of Christmas lights and travels through a natural winter wonderland as it makes its way to Dartmouth.
Of course, there will be plenty of festive-themed entertainment, games and quizzes throughout the holiday and the superb company of your holiday companions to enjoy, too!
Your accessible Devon hotel has been hand-picked by the Limitless Team for its superb location and excellent disabled facilities. A Limitless Travel representative will accompany the tour group throughout the holiday, providing assistance whenever required and ensuring you receive the support you need.

Merry Christmas! Your festive holiday begins at one of our designated UK pick-up points, where the Limitless Team and our fully accessible coach will be waiting for you. The coach features ramp or hydraulic lift access, as well as dedicated spaces for wheelchairs. While you’re more than welcome to stay in your wheelchair for the duration of the journey, you can also transfer to a standard seat.
It’s Christmas Day! Today, we’ll be bringing all the festive fun to ensure this is a Christmas Day you’ll remember for years to come. After breakfasting together, we'll share some presents, Santa comes on our Limitless tours too !
Next, we’ll enjoy a fantastic Christmas Dinner with all the trimmings and the unbeatable company of the Limitless Team and your holiday companions at the hotel in Plymouth. And what better way to end a memorable Christmas Day than a tasty cheese board and a glass of red wine. Your tour manager will host some Christmas entertainment in the evening.
We’ll begin Boxing Day boarding the coach and drive over to Torquay, a quaint Devonshire coastal town. There will be time to take a stroll along the prom, and grab some chips if you aren't too full from yesterday's festivities.
In the afternoon we will have a cream tea, with fresh scones, cream and jam by the sea before heading back on the coach for a coastal drive by the Devonshire coast line.
Today we'll head over to Paignton to explore the English Riveria coastal town, and take a stroll along the pier.
Later in the day we will head on the Train of Lights. Decorated with thousands of colourful lights, this authentic steam train will transport you through a magical winter landscape as you journey from Paignton to Dartmouth and back again. One of the most beautiful Christmas experiences in the UK, this is a train ride you’ll never forget!
Today, your accessible Christmas in Devon Tour comes to an end. After a hearty breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, take in the views of the south coast through the window and enjoy a little commentary from your Tour Manager. Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan your next Limitless adventure!
Located just five minutes from the city's busy shopping area and grand cathedral, our Exeter hotel is the perfect base for your Devon tour. Featuring wheelchair accessible bedrooms, bathrooms and wet rooms, as well as spacious public areas, including an on-site restaurant and coffee bar, the hotel is the ideal place to unwind after a busy day.
Half board: breakfast and evening meals are included in the price of your holiday. Look forward to fresh and delicious meals to both begin and round off the day. Meal selection will vary depending on where you’re staying. For breakfast you can expect either table service or a buffet style, with complimentary teas, coffees and juices included. In the evening, you’ll be served dinner for every night of your stay.
All of our vehicles are 100% accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. They are fitted with either a ramp or a hydraulic lift and wheelchairs can be clamped into place, so there's no need to transfer out of your wheelchair if that's where you're more comfortable. Travellers who do not use a wheelchair are also welcome to use the ramp or lift to access the coach.
The coaches are spacious and accommodating, ensuring that everyone has plenty of room to relax. Our drivers and staff are trained to assist passengers with diverse needs, ensuring that you feel supported and comfortable throughout your journey. We prioritise your comfort and safety, making sure that our transport is fully adapted to your needs, whether you have mobility challenges, visual impairments, or other requirements.
