From the radical religious transformation undertaken by Henry VIII to Queen Elisabeth II’s record-breaking reign, the monarchy has influenced the course of much of the UK’s history.

On your accessible Royal Tour, we’ll visit several of the Royal Family’s historic homes and enjoy a guided tour around Buckingham Palace. Ideal for those with a passion for history, your holiday will give you a fascinating insight into the families that have ruled the country for hundreds of years. We’ll start the holiday with a visit to Hampton Court, Henry VIII’s preferred residence and a fascinating blend of Tudor and Baroque architectural styles. Later, we’ll tour Buckingham Palace, with its grand State Rooms and elaborate gardens, before finishing on a high with a trip to Windsor Castle. Day 1 - Travel and Settling In

After meeting at one of our designated UK pick-up points, we’ll begin the journey to London. Our disabled friendly coaches feature lift and ramp access and wheelchairs can be secured in place, so there’s no need to transfer to a standard seat. After checking-in at your fully accessible hotel, you’ll have a little time to settle in, then we’ll enjoy a delicious three-course meal.

Day 2 - Visiting Hampton Court

On the first full day of your holiday, we’ll be travelling back in time to visit King Henry VIII’s luxurious residence, Hampton Court. One of the King’s favourite places to stay, the palace’s distinctive combination of Tudor and Baroque styles makes it a must-visit for holidaymakers who enjoy a little English history. In the morning, you’ll explore the Great Hall and the many adjoining galleries, while keeping an eye out for the ghosts of Henry’s six wives, all of whom are said to haunt the palace. We will also treat everyone to a traditional Pie known to be one of King Henry VIII's favourite meals.

Day 3 - A Tour Around Buckingham Palace

Today will be truly special, as we’ll be visiting one of the UK’s most iconic buildings, Buckingham Palace. Home to HRH King Charles, the palace acts as the Royal Family’s London residence and contains more than 775 rooms, as well as the largest private garden in London. We’ll be accompanied by an experienced tour guide throughout the visit, which will take in the Royal State Rooms, the Throne Room, the Picture Gallery and Ballroom, as well as the Royal Gardens. Once the tour is complete, we’ll refuel with a bite to eat and make our way back to the hotel, where you can pass the rest of the day however you please.

Day 4 - Windsor Castle

On Day Four of your Royal Tour, we’ll tour the King’s second residence, Windsor Castle. Founded by William the Conqueror, the castle has been lived in by the British Royal family for nine centuries, making it the oldest occupied royal residence in Europe. The Queen’s preferred weekend home, Windsor Castle boasts a fascinating past and represents nearly a millennium of architectural history.

Day 5 - Until Next Time

Today, your accessible Royal Tour comes to an end. After a hearty breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, take in the views of London through the window and enjoy a little commentary from your Tour Manager. Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan your next Limitless adventure!

You'll be staying in a fully accessible, four-star hotel on the outskirts of London. Featuring accessible public spaces and bedrooms, as well as wet room bathrooms, the hotel is the perfect base from which to explore the Royal Family's history. An excellent, in-house restaurant serves up a seasonal dinner menu, while the fully licensed bar is open throughout the day.

Half board: breakfast and evening meals are included in the price of your holiday. Look forward to fresh and delicious meals to both begin and round off the day. Meal selection will vary depending on where you’re staying. For breakfast you can expect either table service or a buffet style, with complimentary teas, coffees and juices included. In the evening, you’ll be served dinner for every night of your stay.

All of our vehicles are 100% accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. They are fitted with either a ramp or a hydraulic lift and wheelchairs can be clamped into place, so there's no need to transfer out of your wheelchair if that's where you're more comfortable. Travellers who do not use a wheelchair are also welcome to use the ramp or lift to access the coach.
