After boarding the coach at one of our UK meeting points, we’ll set off for Canterbury. During the journey, wheelchairs can be securely fastened, or you may choose to transfer to a seat. Margate - Seaside Charm

Margate, a classic English seaside town on the Kent coast, seamlessly blending old-world charm with modern culture, making it a must-visit for any coastal getaway. Today, you'll head to the shore, where you can explore the town and enjoy a taste of the local fish and chips. In the afternoon, those interested can visit the renowned Turner Contemporary Museum. Since its opening in 2011, the museum has been a hub for artistic exploration and discovery. Built on the site of the boarding house where J.M.W. Turner stayed during his visits to Margate, the gallery is inspired by the life and work of the celebrated artist, who drew inspiration from the town’s unique skies and light, believing in the transformative power of art.

Canterbury and the Cathedral

Today, you won’t have to venture far from your hotel to enjoy the fantastic sights of Canterbury. First, you'll visit the iconic Canterbury Cathedral, founded by St. Augustine in 597 AD. A remarkable place of worship and a major pilgrimage destination, it's also a masterpiece of art and architecture. After admiring its breathtaking stained glass windows, you'll have time to explore more of the town and its bustling high street, before indulging in a luxurious afternoon cream tea.

The White Cliffs of Dover

One of the UK's most iconic landmarks, the towering White Cliffs of Dover, dominate the landscape. Today, you’ll head to the South Coast, where you’ll be immersed in the area's rich history with a visit to Dover Castle. Perched high above the cliffs, this medieval fortress was built to defend against invasions from across the English Channel. It overlooks the town and houses the fascinating Secret Wartime Tunnels. After exploring the castle’s diverse history and many transformations, you'll spend the afternoon on the water, taking a fully accessible boat tour along the coast, allowing you to truly appreciate the majestic scale of the cliffs.

Today marks the end of your Canterbury and Kent tour. After a hearty breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel, heading to our various UK drop-off points. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the final views of the Kent countryside through the window, accompanied by some commentary from your Tour Manager. All that’s left is to say goodbye to new friends and start planning your next Limitless adventure!

It is one of the best accessible hotels in the area, with spacious rooms and disabled access throughout. It's the perfect base in which to relax, and from which to explore.

All of our vehicles are 100% wheelchair accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. They are fitted with either a ramp or a hydraulic lift and wheelchairs can be clamped into place, so there’s no need to transfer out of your wheelchair if that’s where you’re more comfortable. Travellers who do not use a wheelchair are also welcome to use the ramp or lift to access the coach.
