From Weston-super-Mare's glorious stretch of open, sandy beach and famous Victorian pier to the shy deer and raucous wild boar of the Forest of Dean, our Wales & Weston-super-Mare tour is all about experiencing the magic of this beautiful part of the world. Straddling the border between Wales and England, the picturesque Wye Valley will be our base for the duration of the holiday, ensuring we're well placed to make the most of both coast and countryside.
While the holiday begins by exploring the spectacular landscapes of the Wye Valley and boarding an authentic steam train for a relaxing and scenic journey through the Forest of Dean, we'll also head to Weston-super-Mare for a day by the sea. One of the UK's most beloved beach resorts, this lively town is the perfect place to grab an ice cream, soak up the sun and try your luck on one of the Grand Pier's penny pusher machines.
On the third day of your holiday, we'll cross the border and visit the 'Gateway to Wales,' Abergavenny. A vibrant market town that can trace its origins back to Roman settlement, Abervagenny offers the opportunity to sample some of the area's finest fresh produce. We will also take you to a tropical Butterfly Centre home to hundreds of varieites of butterfly.
Your disabled friendly Wye Valley hotel has been hand-picked by the Limitless Team for its superb location and excellent disabled facilities.
