Ever wanted to try your hand at skiing? Been dreaming of slaloming through perfect white powder? Always longed to experience the picturesque landscapes of the Austrian mountains? Well, now you can. We’re very proud and excited to launch our first Limitless accessible ski holiday and bring all the fun, exhilaration and beauty of one of the world’s most popular alpine sports to those who previously believed their participation was impossible.
Our disabled-friendly skiing holiday will see you travel to the towering peaks of the Eastern Alps, where you’ll stay in a luxurious, four-star hotel. Fully accessible throughout, your accommodation benefits from spacious bedrooms, roll-in showers, a heated pool and spa facilities. As well as enjoying meals together as a group, there’s the local village to explore and the Limitless Team will provide evening entertainment in the form of quizzes, games and a good time.
On this tour, we’ve opted to travel via an accessible coach, so there’s no need to fly and travel hassle is minimised. We’ll collect you from your local pick-up point, cross the Channel on the Eurotunnel service and pass through France and Germany, before arriving in northern Austria. The coach benefits from beds, reclinable seats, a kitchenette, an accessible toilet and a wet room, while the Limitless Team will be on-hand to provide care and support throughout the journey.
Once we arrive in Austria, it’s time to hit the slopes! Every day, guests will spend either the morning or afternoon out on the snow, learning how to ski with our four qualified ski instructors. They’ll help you progress, building your confidence as the days pass and providing you with the guidance you need to keep on improving.
If you’re uncomfortable on traditional skis or are unable to stand, you can jump on a specially-adapted “sit-ski” instead. On these toboggan-style skis, the instructor sits behind you, keeping you safe and teaching you the ropes until you’re ready to take full control of the sit-ski. Even then, the instructor will remain with you, ready to step in should you need any help.
Your accessible Austrian hotel has been hand-picked by the Limitless Team for its superb location and excellent disabled facilities. A Limitless Travel representative will accompany the tour group throughout the holiday, providing assistance whenever required and ensuring you receive the support you need.

Journey via Accessible Coach to Austria
Once all of our Limitless travellers are aboard, we’ll make our way to the Eurotunnel and cross the Channel to France. From Calais, we’ll continue on to Austria, passing through Brussels, Aachen, Frankfurt and Munich during the night.
Arrival and Settling In
You’ll be staying in four-star accommodation that’s equipped to meet all the needs of disabled travellers. The spacious bedrooms are equipped with roll-in showers and the hotel’s public spaces are all disabled-friendly. The hotel also boasts easy access to the local village and benefits from an on-site accessible pool that all guests can make the most of.
First Accessible Ski Session
When it’s your turn to get your ski gear on, we’ll board the disabled-friendly minibus and drive to the bottom of the slopes. You can approach the session in several different ways, so you can tailor the difficulty of the activity to your needs and level of confidence. If you’re unable to stand up to ski, there’s a unique “sit-ski” available. This is somewhat similar to a toboggan and allows you to enjoy the slopes with the assistance and guidance of an accompanying ski instructor.
Accessible Ski Day
The groups will meet for lunch and then switch over, allowing the second group to enjoy their session on the snow. While you’re not skiing, there’s plenty to keep you busy. The heated pool is always an option, while the sauna and steam room are the perfect way to relax and unwind after all the excitement of skiing.
In the evening, we’ll get together for a delicious dinner, followed by quizzes and group fun that’s organised and delivered by the Limitless Team.
Taking It to the Next Level
If you’re on the sit-ski, this might be the day when you take full control of the steering (if you haven’t already). Taking the reins is a liberating feeling and you’ll also benefit from knowing that the ski instructor is always just behind you, offering support and ready to step in should you require any assistance.
Enjoy the Mountains
One Last Ski
You’ll also have plenty of time to head back into the local village and enjoy all the amenities there. Alternatively, you may wish to relax and enjoy your final hours in Austria by refreshing body and soul in the hotel’s pool, spa and sauna.
Farewell to Austria
