Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival day

Upon landing in Germany, you will be met by our trusted transfer partner in the arrival’s hall of Cologne Airport. Their vehicles are all fully wheelchair accessible, meaning that you can be secured into place without having to transfer. You will be taken to your accessible hotel which will be your home for the next two days. This scenic hotel (just 30 minutes from Bonn) is in a perfect location and has fantastic facilities for all different types of disabilities. Your evening meal is a buffet dinner on the terrace, overlooking the Rhine. What a way to start your holiday!

Day 2

Guided Tour of Bonn and Beethoven’s Birthplace

Bonn is a green lush city in western Germany that rests on the Rhine river. Here, you will enjoy a gentle paced, private tour by a local expert; you will visit beautiful catholic churches, market areas, city halls, the university and the river side of Bonn with all the stories in-between. You will visit the birthplace of Germany’s most-celebrated composer; Ludwig van Beethoven! You could do a spot of shopping or sip on a frothy coffee before heading back to your accessible hotel.

Day 3

Bon Voyage!

Today, you will board your moving home for the next 8 nights, it’s the beginning of your German voyage! The Royal cabins on the ship are equipped with facilities to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay, she is accessible throughout and equipment is also available for hire.

Settle in with a welcome cocktail and explore your new home, you could visit the sun deck and relax alongside romantic views of the Rhine river. With the spacious lift you can easily reach the upper deck of the cruise ship. There is a conservatory, marquise and a generous terrace for sun lovers!

Day 4

Andernach

Adrenarche Is the historic hometown of the Baker Boys, it is one of the oldest towns in Germany with more than 2000 years of history. Discover impressive sights such as the Old town Wall, the Round Tower, the Castle Ruins and the Jewish Bath. You will have the option to book on board and attend the ships planned tour here, however this is not included in our price. Alternatively, you can join the Limitless team for a gentle wander around the local shops and cafes.

Day 5

Rudesheim

Rüdesheim is a town in the dazzling Rhine Valley, known for its scenic wine making. Next to its extensive vineyards, the city’s rich cultural and historical background make it one of the most intriguing visits. You will have an exclusive private tour as part of your package, this is a great opportunity to try some ancient wine and learn about the musical history as your guided through the town.

Day 6

Manheim

Mannheim lies at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar Rivers and is rare among German cities for its layout, a grid pattern to those found in North America. The grid was originally plotted in 1606 and emanated from Friedrichsburg fortress, which later became the site of Mannheim Palace.

Today, it partly houses the University of Mannheim. The city’s iconic water tower and its beautiful Luisenpark are must-sees. You will have the option to book on board and attend the ships planned tour here independently, however this is not included in you price. Alternatively, you could join the Limitless team for a wander into the town.

Day 7

Strasbourg

From Germany you now sail to beautiful France. Strasbourg is the capital city of the Grand Est region, formerly Alsace, in north eastern France. You will have an exclusive guided tour, private just for our customers. You will explore the old town, Notre dame Cathedral and Petite France. Fully accessible transport will be provided where you can be secured into place without having to transfer. We hope this tour successfully communicates the uniqueness of the largest city in the Est region of France. This city is more than 2000 years old that shares a border with Germany with foods, languages and culture; truly a new culture of its own. This excursion is included in the cost of your holiday so you can sit back and relax.

Day 8

Speyer

Speyer ranks as one of Germanys oldest cities and boasts some of the most fascinating sites dating from the early Roman settlement to modern times. From awe-inspiring churches to exciting museum exhibitions and medieval sites, there’s much to see in Speyer. You will have the option to book on board and attend the ships planned tour independently, however this is not included in your price. Alternatively, you can join the Limitless team for a gentle wander to attractions close by to the dock.

Day 9

Mainz

Mainz is a German city on the Rhine River. It’s known for its old town, with half-timbered houses and medieval market squares. The old city is easy to reach from the river cruise dock and allows for a stroll along beautiful buildings and atmospheric squares. You will have an exclusive and private tour, organized just for our Limitless customers, where you will analyze the varied architecture and delve into history. This is included in the cost of your package, enjoy gothic structures and a local cuisine that will melt in your mouth.

Day 10

Boppard

Boppard, formerly also spelled Boppart, is a town lying in the Rhine Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you’re a fan of quaint, traditional German towns, then you simply can’t go wrong here, with gorgeous river views and rolling vineyards. You will have the option to book on board and attend the ships planned tour here independently, however this is not included in your price. Alternatively, you could join the Limitless team for a gentle wander around near by shops and cafes.

Day 11

Konigswinter to Bonn where we bid farewell

In the city and summer resort of Königswinter, there’s the possibility to enjoy the ships planned tour to the ‘Dragons Castle’. You will have the option to book this morning excursion on board and attend independently. However, this is not included in our price, alternatively you could join the Limitless team for a gentle wander to bask in the architectural beauty. your trip will then return to the departing dock in Bonn, we will organize all accessible airport transfers from the Harbor to Cologne airport. If you aren’t quite ready to go home and would like to extend your stay in Bonn, we are more than happy to recommend a variety of hotel options (contact us for details) If not, then it’s time to say goodbye, don’t forget to ask your tour manager about your next Limitless trip!

They are fitted with either a ramp or a hydraulic lift, and wheelchairs can be clamped into pace, meaning there is no need to transfer out of your wheelchair.
