Itinerary

Day 1 Travel and Settle In
LLandudno

After boarding the coach at one of our designated UK meeting points, the holiday begins and we’ll make our way to the beautiful Snowdonia. Travellers in wheelchairs can opt to transfer to a standard seat or stay in their wheelchair, which will be safely secured in place. Upon arrival at your hotel, the tour team will help everyone get settled and unpacked before tucking in to your evening meal, ready for the adventures ahead.

Day 2 Visit Penrhyn Castle and Garden in Gwynedd and Betws-y-Coed

On Day 2, we will explore Penrhyn Castle and Gardens in Gwynedd. The impressive stone façade of Penrhyn Castle conceals more than its internal red-brick construction. Built in the early 19th century, this majestic castle showcases formidable architecture, lavish interiors, and an exquisite art collection that reflects a rich history rooted in sugar and slate fortunes. With the breathtaking backdrop of Snowdonia, be sure to have your camera ready to capture the stunning views. The group will have several hours to explore both the inside and outside of the castle before we head to the nearby village of Betws-y-Coed. This charming village is home to a variety of independent shops offering crafts, clothing, gifts, and locally produced goods.

Please note that while we strive to ensure accessibility, certain areas of the castle (such as the upper levels) may not be accessible to all group members due to listed building regulations, which can limit access due to step access and smaller doorways. However, there is still plenty to see and enjoy, and we are confident you will have a wonderful day.

Day 3 Explore Llandudno & Enjoy Traditional Welsh Tea

After a hearty cooked breakfast, we’ll set off to explore Llandudno, known as "the Queen of the Welsh Resorts". The beautiful seaside resort boasts a promenade lined with elegant Victorian buildings - where better to soak in the coastal views! Explore the town at your own pace. In the afternoon, we’ll relax with a traditional Welsh tea and enjoy great company before heading back to the hotel.

Day 4 Pili Palas & Llanfairpwllgwyngyll

Towering over the region, the dramatic peaks of Snowdonia dominate the landscape, creating a breathtaking setting for today’s excursion. This morning, we’ll visit Pili Palas Nature World, a fully accessible attraction offering a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Wander through tropical butterfly houses, discover fascinating reptiles, and enjoy colourful wildlife displays, all at a comfortable pace.

In the afternoon, we’ll travel to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch for a fun photo opportunity at the famously long-named railway station. There will also be time to browse local Welsh shops and pick up unique souvenirs before returning to the hotel for supper.
