Your holiday begins! Whether you’ve made use of the complimentary parking or the complementary Limitless accessible taxi transfer, our team will be there to help you check in your bags and board the ship. Those guests staying in an accessible cabin will also benefit from Priority Embarkation. We know check-in and boarding can be a nervous experience for some travellers, so Limitless assists with every aspect. You can learn about our check in and boarding support in greater detail in our FAQs.

Once aboard the cruise ship, you’ll have a chance to settle into your cabin, explore the ship, and meet your fellow Limitless Travellers. The Limitless Care Team is always available to provide support and ensure your holiday gets off to the best possible start.

Day 2 At Sea
Cruise customers at a restaurant on a cruise ship
Exploring the Majestic Princess

Your first day at sea is all about exploring the ship and settling in. Typically, the Limitless Team meets with everyone in the morning to catch up over breakfast, make sure you had a comfortable night, discuss the day ahead, and plan activities. We often lunch and dine as a group as well, so you’re never short of company.

During days at sea, there’s plenty to see and do on the Majestic Princess. As a group, Limitless Travellers often enjoy a relaxed morning, followed by a group lunch and some afternoon fun - be it a theatre show or a movie. Then it’s time to get dressed up for a delicious dinner, followed by some fantastic evening entertainment. Of course, how you spend your day is entirely up to you! But it’s good to know that the Limitless Team and your fellow travellers are always around too.

Day 3 Haugesund, Norway
Customer and Staff in Port Norway in Viking hats
Port Visit

Welcome to Haugesund - home of the Vikings. Though the town itself is relatively young, the local area was a hotbed of Viking activity, and the first king of Norway, Harald Fairhair, lived just 8 km from the modern settlement. After disembarking the ship, we typically catch the accessible bus into the city centre to maximize your time there.

Known as the birthplace of modern Norway, Haugesund is a brilliant place to do some holiday shopping and its excellent restaurants ensure this stop is one for the foodies too. There’s also an accessible Hop-On, Hop-Off bus that takes you around all of the city’s main attractions. Finally, we would highly recommend visiting the fascinating Viking Planet museum to learn more about the area’s incredible history.

Day 4 Skjolden, Norway
Skjolden, Norway
Port Visit

Situated at the end of Sognefjord, Norway’s longest and deepest fjord, Skjolden is a small, enchanting village set amongst snow-tipped mountains, pristine water and verdant valleys. Though there are relatively few amenities in the hamlet itself, this stop is all about the landscape - there are few more spectacular places on earth.

Of course, much of the appeal of visiting Skjolden lies in the journey you take to reach it. In Norway, Sognefjord is known as ‘the King of the Fjords’ for its sheer size, grandeur and beauty. The cruise involves some of the most dramatic and awe-inspiring scenery in Norway, and Limitless Travellers regularly cite it as one of their most memorable travel experiences.

Day 5 Ålesund, Norway
Alesund, Norway
Port Visit

Famous for its unique architecture, Ålesund is the cultural centre of the Sunnmøre region and a relaxed and atmospheric town. Having burned down in 1904, the entire town was rebuilt in the Art Nouveau style, making it one of the most distinctive port stops on your holiday. The approach to the port includes a scenic journey through the Geirangerfjord, and the town centre is just 10 minutes from the dock. We often take a short walk around the prettiest areas before stopping for lunch and a spot of shopping.

Both the Art Nouveau Centre and the open-air Sunnmøre Museum are also accessible. The local wheelchair-friendly Hop-On, Hop-Off bus also tours several local attractions. However, spaces are limited and Limitless Travellers will need to book their place independently and in advance.

Day 6 Molde, Norway
Molde landscape image of the town and church
Port Visit

Nestled between fjords and mountains, Molde is a charming Norwegian town known for its sweeping panoramas and vibrant gardens. Nicknamed The City of Roses, it offers a peaceful and scenic stop, with colourful blooms lining the streets during the warmer months and spectacular views across 222 snow-capped mountain peaks from the famous Varden viewpoint.

Whether you're exploring the accessible waterfront promenade, enjoying a coffee with a view, or simply soaking in the tranquil atmosphere, Molde is a gentle and beautiful introduction to everyday life in coastal Norway. The Limitless team will be on hand throughout the visit to offer support and assistance, ensuring you can relax and enjoy every moment.

Day 7 At Sea
Princess Majestic Theatre show
Onboard Entertainment

From unforgettable musical spectaculars in the Princess Theater to the roving street performers in the Piazza, the Majestic is packed with out-of-this-world entertainment. While the 900-seater Princess Theater is where you’ll find the show-stopping original productions Princess Cruises are famous for, the smaller Princess Live! venue offers an equally exciting lineup of cabaret acts, comedians, concerts and game shows.

You’ll regularly find live music and dancing in any one of the many smaller bars and lounges spread around the ship, while cinephiles will love the poolside Movies Under The Stars® open-air screen. And don’t forget the Majestic’s much-loved top deck parties either - they’re a great opportunity to cut loose while listening to live music with your fellow Limitless Travellers.

Day 8 Akureyri, Iceland
Akureyri, Iceland Colourful street view
Port Visit

‘The capital of the north’, Akureyri is an important fishing centre, a busy port and much admired for its highly regarded university. Home to approximately 20,000 people, it is a vibrant and dynamic city with a beautiful botanical garden and a popular local history museum.

But the real star of the show here is the Eyjafjörður - the 70 km-long fjord at which Akureyri sits at the head. An awe-inspiring experience, cruising down the Eyjafjörður offers unparalleled views over staggering landscapes and the chance to spot humpback whales breaching the water, puffins fishing and white-beaked dolphins playing. Depending on weather conditions and scheduling, Akureyri can be an anchor port that requires small tenders to reach shore, restricting access. Learn more about anchor ports in our FAQs.

Day 9 Ísafjörður, Iceland
Ísafjörður, Norway
Port Visit

Situated on the Westfjords peninsula at the country’s northwestern tip, Ísafjörður is the region’s largest town despite a resident population of only 2,600 people. The town centre is built on a sand spit - the Skutulsfjörður - that juts out into the dark waters of the icy fjord and is hemmed in on all sides by soaring mountains, guaranteeing an unforgettable approach.

Still predominantly a fishing port, Ísafjörður boasts some of Iceland’s oldest and best-preserved buildings and is home to the partially accessible Westfjord History Museum. The town has several well-surfaced walking trails. Depending on weather conditions and scheduling, Ísafjörður is sometimes an anchor port that requires small tenders to reach shore, restricting access. Learn more about anchor ports in our FAQs.

Day 10 Grundarfjörður, Iceland
Grundarfjörður iceland, Landscape image of red roofed houses
Port Visit

Situated on Iceland’s west coast, Grundarfjörður is a small fishing village backed by the spectacular Kirkjufell mountain. One of the country’s most photographed mountains, largely due to its use as a filming location in Game of Thrones, Kirkjufell translates as Church Mountain, a reference to its steeple-like peak.

In the town itself, the Saga Center Grundarfjörður houses exhibits on the town’s history, while the Grundarfjörður Church contains one of just 500 original lithographs of Iceland’s first printed book - the Icelandic bible, the Guðbrandsbiblía. Several outdoor art installations, including the Orca Statue and Paimpol Cross, are spread around the town.

Unfortunately, Grundarfjörður is an anchor port that requires small tenders to reach shore, restricting access. However, Limitless Travellers who can’t disembark will still be able to enjoy the breathtaking scenery and world-class facilities aboard the ship. Learn more about anchor ports in our FAQs.

Day 11 Reykjavik, Iceland
Reykjavik iceland landscape image of small boats
Port Visit

A pocket-sized capital with plenty to discover, Reykjavík is a truly special destination. While the towering Esja mountain and expansive bay provide a breathtaking backdrop, the city's striking architecture and the warm, Icelandic welcome guarantee this magical destination lives long in the memory.

Whether tasting the country’s always-innovative cuisine, hanging out at an arty cafe, or strolling along the waterfront, Reykjavík is a joy to explore. There’s the iconic Hallgrímskirkja church, with its jaw-dropping facade and the vibrant Old Harbour waterfront area, where you’ll find plenty to eat and drink. The Harpa Concert Hall is a fascinating piece of architecture with its patchwork of 714 LED-lit glass panels and you can shop till you drop on Skólavörðustígur Rainbow Street.

Day 12 At Sea
Customers and Limitless staff enjoying dinner at restaurant onboard cruise ship
Restaurants & Bars

When it comes to restaurants and bars, the Majestic is difficult to beat for sheer quality and variety. The ship’s restaurants are split between regular dining options that are included in the cost of your holiday and speciality dining options that charge a little extra. The former includes firm favourites like the World Fresh Marketplace and Alfredo’s Pizzeria. The latter encompasses mouthwatering indulgences like French-style Bistro Sur La Mer, The Catch by Rudi, and the special Chef’s Table Lumière experience.

Limitless Travellers are spoiled for choice on the bar front too. The Good Spirits® At Sea cocktail bar takes you around the globe in search of the best drinks. The Crown Grill Bar is a great spot for pre- or post-performance drinks, while Bellini's is the place to go if you enjoy a glass of bubbles.

Day 13 At Sea
Hollywood pool Princess Majestic
Pools & Spa

With four swimming pools to choose from, Limitless Travellers can opt to cool down in one of the two outdoor pools in the Fountain area or opt for indoor, adult-only swimming in the Hollywood Pool Club. A fourth and final pool option can be found in the Lotus Spa® facilities, though this requires an additional fee to access.

The Lotus Spa offers a phenomenal range of treatments and therapies designed to deliver maximum relaxation and get you well and truly in that holiday state of mind. Whether you’re interested in an acupuncture treatment or La Therapie HydraLift Facial, the Majestic’s professional spa facilities will leave you feeling and looking your laidback best.

Day 14 At Sea
Majestic Princess At sea
Sailing Home

By now, you will have spent a few days exploring the Majestic and enjoying the facilities, activities and entertainment. But we guarantee there are still things you’re yet to see, do or find. Have you watched a film at the Movies Under The Stars outdoor cinema? Tried your luck in the Casino? Sampled the vino at the Caymus Winemaker's Dinner? Tried your luck in the Vegas-style casino?

As we make our way back to Southampton, this is a great opportunity to check out those parts of the Majestic Princess you’re yet to see or return to your favourite spots. Or just relax in total comfort and reminisce about the places you’ve seen over the course of your holiday. Have a chat with your Tour Manager in the morning and organise the perfect final day.

Day 15 Southampton, UK

Disembark & Home Drop-Off

Following your final breakfast aboard the ship, the Limitless team will assist with check-out. The ship’s crew will take down your bags, and we’ll help you disembark, make sure you reach your pick-up, and say our farewells. Your transfer will then get you home, dropping you off at your front door.

We can’t wait to see you on your next Limitless holiday!

How does Limitless assist with check in and boarding?

Having met the Limitless Team at the port, we'll accompany you to the special assistance check-in. As it's separate from regular check-in, there are no crowds or lengthy queues.

You'll then be given a boarding time. Usually, we board as a group. However, if this isn't possible and you would like the assistance, we ensure a carer accompanies you onto the ship.

We board via the accessible gangway. This ramp connects the ship to the port. If you require support or assistance, both the Limitless Team and the ship's crew will be on hand to help. There are also manual wheelchairs available to make this transfer easier.

On some ships, the accessible gangway can be a little steep. In these instances, two crew members will provide support - one in front and one behind. You'll never be rushed and your safety and comfort are always the priorities.

Remember, you don't need to pre-book any special assistance at the port! We provide this assistance as standard with all Limitless cruises.

What is Limitless Group Support & Holiday Assistance?

Group Support & Holiday Assistance is included as standard with all Limitless holidays. It's what sets us apart from every other UK holiday provider!

What can Limitless do if I require additional care and support?

They range from our Morning, Evening & Occasional Daytime Care package for travellers who require intermittent assistance with personal care to our One-to-One Care With Hoisting package for travellers who would benefit from comprehensive, all-day care.

We always recommend getting touch with your Personal Travel Advisor to discuss care packages. They are always on hand to answer questions, provide information, and make recommendations about the package they think is most suitable for you. You can contact Limitless on 0800 711 7112.

In addition to this, our care team will also reach out to you three months before your holiday to confirm you have everything you need to travel with complete confidence.

What are anchor ports and is Limitless responsible for port changes?

At Limitless Travel, we carefully select cruise itineraries with minimal anchor ports. Anchor ports are those destinations where port logistics mean a small boat or ‘tender’ transport is required to ferry guests to shore. In the vast majority of cases, these tenders are not accessible and some Limitless Travellers will not be able to leave the ship.

Unfortunately, port changes can happen due to any number of reasons while at sea. Limitless Travel cannot be held accountable for any such port changes.

Which side of the ship is best for fjords?

On our Norwegian fjord cruises, both sides of the ship typically guarantee spectacular views of the fjords. However, selecting the “best” side of the ship often depends on the itinerary specifics.

Generally, the starboard (right-hand) side might be slightly better if you’re cruising north and the port (left-hand) side if you’re heading south. In both instances, this is because that side of the ship will spend more time facing the coastline.

Modern cruise ships are designed to maximize visibility and the open decks and public viewing areas guarantee everyone has access to striking 360-degree vistas. On Limitless Norwegian Fjords Cruises, there are always plenty of opportunities to use these facilities.

Is the sea rough in the Norwegian fjords?

The waters in the Norwegian fjords are generally much calmer than the open sea, thanks to the fjords' narrow and sheltered characteristics. This makes Norwegian fjord cruises an excellent choice for those concerned about sea sickness.

The cruise ship will be out on the open sea when travelling to, from and between fjords. Here, rougher seas are possible but entirely dependent on the weather, conditions, and season. Modern cruise ships are well-equipped with stabilisers to counteract rougher seas and minimise the motion you feel, ensuring a comfortable onboard experience.
