Arrival & The Northern Lights
A private chauffeur will transfer you to your accommodation in the centre of Reykjavik. For the next five days, you will be staying in a wheelchair friendly hotel with spacious, accessible rooms and bathrooms with a roll in shower. We suggest that you use your free afternoon to settle in and explore the city of Reykjavik. In the evening, you will go on a Northern Lights tour looking for the amazing lights in the sky!
The Golden Circle
Your guide will explain the natural wonder and after exploring the treasures of the park, you will head south to see a Geyser. A Geyser is an impressive natural phenomenon characterised by periodical discharge of water, ejected by the earth’s surface. The geyser is easily reachable by wheelchair and you will have the chance to see Strokkur, one the most famous geysers of Iceland. It erupts every 4–8 minutes at approximately 15 – 20 m high, sometimes even up to 40 m! The last stop of your Golden Circle tour is Gullfoss; The Golden Waterfall, undoubtedly the country’s most famous waterfall and one of the most iconic sights in Iceland. On the way back to Reykjavík you will visit Kerið a 3000-year-old volcano crater, now filled with water to create a volcanic lake with vivid red slopes and aquamarine water.
The Blue Lagoon
Relax and experience the rejuvenating powers of the Blue Lagoon's legendary waters or explore the breath-taking beauty of the moss-covered landscape. In the late afternoon, your guide will drive you back to the capital where you can enjoy dinner in one of the many deluxe restaurants; share stories of wonder over tasty local food and drink and enjoy your last night in Iceland.
