Journey over to the Wye Valley
On arrival at the hotel, which boasts more than 50 years of experience providing disabled specialist accommodation, the Limitless Team will help you check-in and get your bags to your room. There will be a little time to settle in and make yourself comfortable, then a home-cooked, three-course dinner will be served! After, it’s time for some excellent evening entertainment.
Wye Butterfly Centre & Sunday Roast
Home to an astoundingly varied number of species, the Butterfly Zoo offers you a fantastic opportunity to learn a little more about these beautiful creatures. This particular zoo is also heavily involved in butterfly conservation around the world, so you’ll also hear about the work being done to protect them.
On leaving the zoo, we’ll head back to the hotel for a delicious Sunday roast with all the trimmings. You’ll have a little time to unwind after the meal and then you can choose to take a stroll into nearby Ross-on-Wye, spend the afternoon on the banks of the River Wye or simply enjoy the hotel and its gardens.
Trip to Bourton on the Water
While there, we’ll visit Bourton’s famous Motor Museum, which is home to hundreds of vintage vehicles and a diverse collection of automobile memorabilia. You’ll then have the chance to wander around the village and explore its quaint shops and cafes. Don’t forget to pick up your holiday souvenirs along the way!
Sudeley Castle Tour & Light Show Spectacular
We’ll start the visit with a tour of this historic castle, which is well-known as the resting place of Catherine Parr - the last of Henry VIII’s six wives. Then, as the sun sets, you’ll be treated to the after-dark Sudeley Spectacle of Light. With several different light displays, including the awe-inspiring Light Curve and the flickering flames of the Queen’s Garden, it’s sure to get you in the Christmas mood!
There’s also plenty of food and drink stalls at the castle, so you can tuck into some fresh mince pies, warm yourself up with a mulled wine or grab a hot chocolate as you enjoy the spectacle.

To make sure you’re extra comfortable on board the steam train, you’ll be served an excellent afternoon tea that will prove the perfect accompaniment to a truly special, festive journey.

All of our vehicles are 100% accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. They are fitted with either a ramp or a hydraulic lift and wheelchairs can be clamped into place, so there’s no need to transfer out of your wheelchair if that’s where you’re more comfortable. Travellers who do not use a wheelchair are also welcome to use the ramp or lift to access the coach.
