With its rolling landscapes, charming villages and bustling market towns, the Cotswolds is the perfect destination for a Christmas holiday that will live long in the memory. Throughout the holiday, you'll be staying in a disabled specialist hotel in the idyllic Wye Valley. Boasting breathtaking views of the surrounding area, it's ideally situated for day trips that will see us visiting the region's famous honey-stone villages.

Of course, there will be plenty of festive fun, too. We'll spend time at Cheltenham's Christmas markets and enjoy an evening of holiday-themed entertainment that will ensure you're ready for Father Christmas' arrival on the 25th. As well as offering the opportunity to visit a tropical butterfly centre, Gloucester Cathedral & enjoy a traditional cream tea in stunning Bourton-on-the-Water and an afternoon exploring the historic streets of Gloucester.

Day 1 - Travel and Settling In

Your Christmas holiday begins! After boarding our accessible coach at one of the UK pick-up points, we’ll begin making our way to Cotswolds. Travellers in wheelchairs can choose to remain in their chair, which will be safely secured into place throughout the journey, or transfer to a standard seat. A warm welcome awaits you at your disabled specialist hotel in the Wye Valley. With more than 50 years of experience greeting guests with a wide range of requirements, you can rest assured that you’re in safe hands. Your hosts also know how to enjoy themselves and there will be plenty of festive cheer on your arrival. After checking-in, there’s a little time to explore your surroundings before a delicious three-course meal is served. Your hotel offers spectacular, panoramic views of the Wye Valley and will be decorated top to bottom in Christmassy bits, so don’t forget your Santa hats!

On Day Two of your Christmas holiday, we'll visit a local tropical butterfly centre. Be careful they do like to fly around you may well end up with one settling on your head!

After this we will take you to a local festive panto for some Christmas cheer.

Day 3 - Cream Tea in Bourton-on-the-Water

Day Three of your disabled friendly Cotswolds Christmas holiday includes a visit to the idyllic village of Bourton-on-the-Water. One of the most beautiful villages in the area, Bourton’s traditional stone cottages and peaceful atmosphere offer an excellent insight into why the Cotswolds is often ranked amongst the prettiest stretches of countryside in the UK. As well as taking time to explore the village’s streets and shops, we’ll also stop for a cream tea in one of its traditional tea rooms. Later, we’ll head back to the hotel, where a night of festive fun and a special someone awaits you...

Day 4 - Gloucester Cathedral

Today, we’ll head to the historical town Gloucester and visit the cathedral, which was home to some famous films including Harry Potter. After some time to explore the museum there will be chance for some Christmas shopping in Gloucester.

Today, your accessible Cotswolds Christmas tour comes to an end. After a hearty breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, take in the views through the window and enjoy a little commentary from your Tour Manager. Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan your next Limitless adventure!

Half board: breakfast and evening meals are included in the price of your holiday. Look forward to fresh and delicious meals to both begin and round off the day. Meal selection will vary depending on where you’re staying. For breakfast you can expect either table service or a buffet style, with complimentary teas, coffees and juices included. In the evening, you’ll be served dinner for every night of your stay.

Luxury Wheelchair Accessible Coach

All of our vehicles are 100% accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. They are fitted with either a ramp or a hydraulic lift and wheelchairs can be clamped into place, so there's no need to transfer out of your wheelchair if that's where you're more comfortable. Travellers who do not use a wheelchair are also welcome to use the ramp or lift to access the coach.
