While its beautiful beaches are rightly heralded as amongst the best in Europe, the town itself boasts a diverse array of museums and galleries, some of the best restaurants and cafes in the country, and a wonderful, paved promenade that benefits from an enjoyable land train and several accessible cliff lifts.

While your first full day on holiday will be enjoyed exploring Bournemouth seafront and town centre, the second day we will take you over to Swanage, nestled in the Dorset Coastline this quaint town offers many charming delights. We will then board an accessible steam train for a memorable journey through the rolling Dorset countryside.

Finally, your disabled holiday in Dorset also includes a day trip to the Isle of Wight. There, you’ll see the island’s famous jagged rocks, known as the Needles, tour the breathtaking coastline, and have the opportunity to pick up some mementoes to remember your holiday. Day 1 - Travel and Settling In

After boarding the coach at one of our UK meeting points, we’ll make our way to the south coast and sunny Bournemouth. Travellers in wheelchairs can choose to remain in their chair, which will be safely secured into place throughout the journey, or transfer to a standard seat. On arrival at the hotel, you’ll be able to refresh with complimentary tea and coffee, then the Limitless Team will help you check-in and get your bags to your room. There will be time to settle in and make yourself comfortable before your delicious three-course dinner is served!

Day 2 - Exploring Bournemouth

For your first full day on holiday, we’ll explore Bournemouth and enjoy its spectacular seafront. The town’s beach has been voted the best in the UK several times and regularly appears in the top 10 for all of Europe - so you’re in for a treat! We’ll start the day with a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then head over to the Oceanarium located on the seafront, where you can see extraordinary marine life, including turtles. There are also feeding sessions and an underwater tunnel for an immersive experience.

Afterwards, you’ll have plenty of time to explore Bournemouth’s award-winning beach, bustling town centre and beautiful public gardens. In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to explore the seafront, pier, arcades and gardens at your own pace. As always, the Limitless Team will be on-hand should you require any assistance.

Day 3 - Accessible Steam Train Ride

Day Three of your Bournemouth & IOW tour takes us to Swanage, a beautiful seaside town on the Dorset Coast. There will be chance to explore this quaint town and perhaps pick up a souvenir or two. After lunch we will enjoy an accessible steam train ride through the stunning isle of Purbeck., make sure to charge up your camera!

Today, we’ll be crossing the Solent to visit the stunning Isle of Wight. Your tour of the island includes a visit to the iconic Needles, a unique rock formation on the islands western-most point and one of its most famous landmarks. There are plenty of places to stop and cool off with an ice cream or grab a bit of lunch along the way and you’ll also have the opportunity to visit a sand shop, watch artisan glass blowing, have a look around a sweet factory and grab some souvenirs. In the afternoon, you’ll be able to explore the Isle of Wight at your leisure, with the Limitless Team able to offer any assistance you may need.

Cream Tea at Sea View Hotel

Today we'll head over to Knoll House Hotel, which overlooks Studland beach and its surrounding areas. The historic hotel was built around the turn of the 20th century,

After the outbreak of the Second World War, the hotel was requisitioned for troops erecting beach defences during 1943-44, soldiers used the beach and hinterlands to rehearse the D-Day landings. Winston Churchill also famously stayed at the hotel. In 1946 the hotel was re opened to the public. We'll enjoy a delightful cream tea relaxing and soaking up the coastline, before heading back to the hotel.

Visit to Beaulieu

Today we will visit the fascinating Beaulieu Motor Museum, which offers a wonderful day out for all. Home to over 500 cars spanning over many decades, it truly is a journey back through time. Take your time to marvel at the impressive machinery and learn about the different vehicles.

There is plenty more to Beaulieu than just cars, there's also a Palace House with stunning grounds and gardens, a model village, an army exhibition, an abbey, and a mono rail - it really has got it all! There will also be time to get some lunch and refreshments too as we explore Beaulieu for our final day on holiday.

Day 7 - Until Next Time

Today, your accessible Bournemouth & IOW Tour comes to an end. After a hearty breakfast, our accessible coach will depart the hotel for our various UK drop-off locations. Relax, take in the views of Dorset, and enjoy a little commentary from your Tour Manager. Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan your next Limitless adventure!
