Our Best of the Netherlands tour takes you from the tulips and windmills of the Dutch countryside to the canals and coffee shop culture of one of Europe's most dynamic capitals, Amsterdam. On your holiday, you'll have the opportunity to cruise Amsterdam's myriad canals on an accessible boat, explore the city's museum quarter, the Museumplein, and indulge in Dutch sweet treats at one of the capital's celebrated bruin cafés. As well as spending time discovering the city's streets, we'll be heading out into the countryside to visit traditional cheese and clog factories and learn more about the region's unique floating auction houses at the BroekerVeiling Museum.

The Itinerary

Day 1 - Travel, Settling In & Welcome BBQ

After landing at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, you’ll be met in the arrivals hall by our trusted transfer provider. Travellers can stay in their wheelchair throughout the journey or transfer into a standard seat. Upon arriving at our hotel, we’ll check-in and enjoy a welcome BBQ on the sun terrace. With its very own canal, a historic bar and trinkets and antiques galore, you’ll find the hotel is a fantastic place to begin exploring all the Netherlands has to offer.

Day 2 - Cheese & Clog Making Factory Tour

On Day Two, you’ll treat your tastebuds and experience traditional Dutch craftsmanship with a visit to a local cheese & clog-making factory. After getting stuck into an endless array of cheesy samples and watching a pair of authentic clogs being made, you’ll have plenty of time to take a look around the town, soak up the scenery and pick up a few holiday souvenirs.

Day 3 - BroekerVeiling Museum

Day Three takes us to the famous, floating BroekerVeiling Museum. Once a lively vegetable auction house, this impressive feat of engineering has been converted into an interactive museum that lets you experience the local area’s history first-hand. The visit includes opportunities to take a guided tour, participate in a live auction and discover one of the region’s thousands of island farms on a short boat ride.

Day 4 - Amsterdam Private Canal Cruise

Today, we’ll take to the water to explore the Netherlands’ picturesque capital. Starting with a cruise along the city’s iconic canals in a lift-accessible boat, we’ll serve up a spot of lunch while you take in some of Amsterdam’s most historic sights. Afterwards, we’ll visit the Museumplein, an impressive public square at the heart of the city’s fascinating museum quarter. Home to some of the country’s top museums and galleries, and surrounded by beautifully manicured parks, it’s the perfect way to get to grips with Dutch culture.

Day 5 - Until Next Time

After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to bid the Netherlands farewell! Your Limitless Travel Tour Manager will check you out of your hotel and escort you on your accessible airport transfer. Now, all that’s left to do is say farewell to new friends and plan your next Limitless adventure!

Located a little north of Amsterdam, your disabled friendly Netherlands hotel is ideally situated to take advantage of both the Dutch capital and the country's spectacular countryside. The hotel features wet room bathrooms in all guest rooms, serves up a delicious, home-cooked dinner every evening and benefits from plenty of outdoor space for you to relax in at the end of a busy day.

Half board: breakfast and evening meals are included in the price of your holiday. Look forward to fresh and delicious meals to both begin and round off the day. Meal selection will vary depending on where you’re staying. For breakfast you can expect either table service or a buffet style, with complimentary teas, coffees and juices included. In the evening you’ll be served dinner for every night of your stay. Please note, evening meals are not included for any fly-to tours labelled as ‘Bed and Breakfast’.

Transport:

Luxury Wheelchair Accessible Coach

All of our vehicles are 100% accessible for wheelchair users and those with limited mobility. They are fitted with either a ramp or a hydraulic lift and wheelchairs can be clamped into place, so there's no need to transfer out of your wheelchair if that's where you're more comfortable. Travellers who do not use a wheelchair are also welcome to use the ramp or lift to access the coach.

The coaches are spacious and accommodating, ensuring that everyone has plenty of room to relax. Our drivers and staff are trained to assist passengers with diverse needs, ensuring that you feel supported and comfortable throughout your journey. We prioritise your comfort and safety, making sure that our transport is fully adapted to your needs, whether you have mobility challenges, visual impairments, or other requirements.
