After your first day settling in and familiarising yourself with your new home. Today you will have another full day to enjoy the extensive on board facilities. Keep your eyes peeled for the Horizon Paper which will show the daily schedules whilst on board. This included, games and quiz's, Karaoke, Live music and much more.

As the ship sails into warmer waters, consider visiting the onboard Library today for a leisurely read while enjoying the open deck. When you find yourself reclining on a lounger and craving a snack, indulge in a freshly made treat from your ship's poolside pizzeria. Delight in a delectable handmade pizza, expertly stone-baked and adorned with gooey Provolone cheese from Italy. This is an ideal choice for a light bite or a quick lunch on the go before embarking on your next adventure. What's more, it's included in the cost of your holiday!

Land ahoy! Following a hearty breakfast, you'll arrive at your first port, Madeira. Once ashore, the reason this destination is dubbed the Garden Island becomes evident—a lush tapestry of colourful sub-tropical plants, trees, and flowers fills the air with a sweet fragrance. Visual delights include waterfalls in the forest and Funchal's vibrant flower markets. Don't miss the opportunity to savour the local cuisine, heavily influenced by Portuguese and African flavors. Specialties include espetada (grilled meat skewers with rice, potatoes, and vegetables), small lapas (sea snails in a garlic sauce), peixe espada com banana (swordfish with banana sauce), and bolo do caco (traditional Madeiran bread with a crispy crust and soft interior, cooked in a wood-fired oven).

To complement your culinary experience, try the local libation known as "poncha," often referred to as the medicinal 'local poison.' Made with rum, honey, lemon juice, and orange juice, it's typically served in a small glass, boasting a delightful combination of sweet and tart flavours.

As you dock in Tenerife, the excitement begins just beyond the port gates, where a cafe-lined boulevard leads to the Plaza de España, the heart of the port's primary shopping area. If you prefer museums and galleries, explore the Museo de Bellas Artes, housing works by Bruegel, or delve into the island's history, topography, flora, and fauna at the Museo de la Naturaleza y El Hombre.

A new day, a new island. Las Palmas stands out as one of the most sought-after destinations in the Canary Islands, particularly cherished by those who relish year-round sunshine. Today we visit the unique island of Lanzarote. The lunar-esque terrain boasts a mesmerising palette of red, orange, and yellow, a result of over 100 volcanic eruptions that occurred in the 1700s. The Ventura will dock in Arrecife, the island’s capital, derived from the Spanish word for 'reef,' a nod to the vast rock reef that blankets the island's beaches. Day Ten of your cruise proves to be a delightful experience. Today, the ship will be making port in the vibrant Portuguese capital of Lisbon, a perennial favourite among Limitless travellers. Ensure your camera is ready, as you'll have the opportunity to capture the charming, candy - coloured scenery and savour delicious custard tarts.

Some of the most stunning views of the Portuguese capital unfold as your ship cruises along the Tagus River, passing iconic landmarks like the Belem Tower and the impressive Monument to the Discoveries, featuring a statue of Henry the Navigator. Upon arriving at the Lisbon cruise port, take note that although compact for a European capital, the city sprawls a bit. It's advisable to focus on specific districts—Baixa, Bairro Alto, and Alfama—each possessing its own distinctive charm. Baixa boasts bustling streets adorned with inviting shops, cafes, and restaurants, while Alfama presents the atmospheric old town characterised by medieval and Moorish-style buildings, wrought-iron balconies draped with trailing flowers, and a mix of quaint shops and bars.

As the ship gradually sets its course back north, today offers you the freedom to leisurely explore the remaining amenities aboard the Ventura.
