On arrival at our destination, the Limitless Team will help you through the airport and onto the awaiting accessible transfer vehicle. From there, it’s on to your excellent disabled-friendly hotel, where we’ll check in, get you settled and comfortable in your room, and enjoy a delicious evening meal with your fellow guests.

Day 3 Agii Apostoli Accessible Beach
Maleme, Crete

A short 20-minute drive east along the spectacular Cretan coastline lies the picturesque beach of Agii Apostoli. Recently revamped with accessible equipment, the beach features extensive wooden decking, chair access to the water, and adapted beach wheelchairs. A paved promenade runs across the top of this pristine stretch of sand, so you can stroll or roll your way along the seafront when you have had your fill of sun.

The local area benefits from excellent tourist infrastructure, so you can take a break in one of the many beachfront cantinas or grab a bite to eat in a local restaurant whenever the fancy takes you. Following a beautiful beach day, we’ll board the accessible transport, head back to the hotel and prepare for another mouthwatering evening meal and a night of Greek entertainment and live music.

Day 4 Charming Chania
Accessible beach wheelchair

Located on the north of the island, just a 30-minute drive from your hotel, Chania is Crete’s most atmospheric, romantic and historic city, blending Byzantine, Venetian and Ottoman influences to spectacular effect. Famous for its labyrinthine lanes, varied architecture, imposing fortifications and remarkable Venetian harbour, it’s a wonderful place to eat, explore and experience Crete’s unique island culture.

On your visit, you’ll benefit from the company of a professional English-speaking guide who will provide expert commentary as you tour the town. As well as stopping at the Akrotiri Peninsula for panoramic views of Chania, you’ll visit the Archaeological Museum for a fantastic insight into the region’s fascinating past. As well as plenty of history, Chania is home to a host of trendy boutiques, traditional leather artisans and souvenir stalls, making it a great spot for a little holiday shopping. Later in the afternoon, we’ll enjoy a refreshing beverage down at the waterfront. There are few more pleasant Cretan experiences than sipping on a classic cocktail as you overlook the city’s historic harbour.

Day 5 A Taste of Crete
Img 1766 1 2

Crete was named European Region of Gastronomy in 2026, and its sensational cuisine has long been admired as the epitome of the healthy (and delicious) Mediterranean diet. With a focus on slow cooking, patient preparation, fresh ingredients and, above all, simplicity, Cretan food ranks among some of the finest you will find anywhere in Europe.

Today, we’ll experience some of the island’s incredible culinary heritage first-hand with a guided visit of the Idiosmos olive mill. There, we’ll get a taste for some of Crete’s famous olive oils, cheeses and honey, while learning more about the island’s fascinating food culture. On our way back, we’ll stop at Kolymbari’s picturesque harbour for a short break and refreshment, followed by a fantastic BBQ dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 Maleme’s Mediterranean Magic
Cyprus

Today, we’ll spend a relaxing morning at the hotel, enjoy a buffet lunch, and then board the accessible shuttle bus and make the short trip to Maleme. A tranquil coastal village, Maleme will enthral beach bums and history buffs alike, and we’ll spend the afternoon enjoying its easygoing charm. Boasting a three-kilometre stretch of beautiful beach, the village is a fantastic spot to get a first feel for the island’s gorgeous Mediterranean waters and top up that tan. Several local tavernas and bars ensure there are plenty of shady spots from which to watch the world go by, too.

An optional tour of the town’s FISIKA skincare workshop will introduce you to the wonderful world of sustainable soap-making, or you can opt to explore the town at your own pace. The village played a pivotal role in World War II and the Battle of Crete as a landing site for German paratroopers invading the island. As a result, the village is home to a German war cemetery and a modest RAF memorial. As the sun sets, we’ll tuck into a delicious beachside dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 7 Relax, Unwind & Enjoy the Sun
Customer

On your last full day in Crete, we’ll take it slow, making the most of the hotel facilities and ensuring you’re as relaxed as can be before heading home. Whether that means booking a spa treatment, lounging by the pool with your holiday reading or making your way into Maleme for a lazy lunch is entirely up to you.

The Limitless Team will be available all day to provide support, so if there is anything you would particularly like to see or do, let us know, and we’ll help make it happen! In the evening, we’ll gather at the hotel restaurant to share our favourite holiday memories, before enjoying a piano performance by the pool.

Day 8 Airport Transfer & Flight Home
Crete, Greece

Today, your accessible holiday comes to an end. After breakfast, the Limitless Team will help you transfer to the airport. We’ll be on hand to help you through the airport, while you’re boarding the plane and during your flight. Once we touch down in the UK, we’ll accompany you through to arrivals and wave you off on your journey home. We’ll see you next time!

Flights FAQs

Are flights included in the cost of a Limitless short-haul holiday?

No, flights are not included in the cost of your Limitless short-haul holiday. However, we do provide extensive booking support, and your Limitless Personal Travel Advisor is always available to provide information and assist with any matter relating to travel and flights.

How do I book flights for Limitless holidays?

Having booked your Limitless short-haul holiday, we’ll send out flight details approximately three months before the departure date. You are then responsible for booking flights, though assistance and support are always available from your Personal Travel Advisor. You can choose to fly on a different flight to the Limitless Team and your fellow Limitless Travellers, but we will not be able to provide support at the airport or during the flight in this case. We will still arrange an accessible transfer to the hotel for you if you fly independently.

What airports do Limitless fly from and how do I get there?

For short-haul holidays, we aim to have two flight teams – one flying from a London airport and the other flying from an airport further north, typically Birmingham or Manchester. This gives Limitless Travellers greater choice and reduces travel time to and from the airport. The specific airports we use depend on destination, cost, flight availability and departure time. Where possible, we opt for a mid-day flight for your convenience.

Does Limitless liaise with the airport to organise special assistance?

Limitless Travellers are responsible for contacting and organising the special assistance team at the airport. The airport’s special assistance team will help you with check-in, security and boarding, and we recommend using their services if possible. Though the special assistance team will manage most of your airport experience, the Limitless Team will also be on hand to accompany you, provide support and advocate on your behalf.

How do the Limitless Team provide support at the airport and while flying?

The Limitless Team will usually meet you at the airport's special assistance desk, collect and handle luggage, and provide any support necessary. If required, we can schedule regular check-ins during the flight. Our team is highly experienced and regularly accompanies Limitless Travellers on international flights. As such, we're able to make sure your journey is smooth and comfortable, and you feel confident travelling. For Limitless short-haul holidays, we guarantee we'll be there to help whenever you need us.

If you opt for the One-to-One Care package, your carer will meet you at the designated airport and provide dedicated support throughout the airport, flight, transfer and holiday.

How do we transfer from the destination airport to the hotel?

We've arranged accessible transport for the drive from your destination airport to the hotel, so you don't have to worry about transfers at all. We use transfer vehicles that have been vetted to ensure accessibility and are equipped with a ramp or hydraulic lift.
