Day 2 At Sea
Cunard Cruises Queen Anne Royal Court theatre and entertainment
Onboard Entertainment

When it comes to entertainment, the Queen Anne has it all. From live music to theatre shows and cabaret, you’ll enjoy an ever-changing lineup of performers to thrill and captivate you. The Brights Light Society is an exciting collaboration with RWS Global and puts on a range of interactive shows, including interactive cinematic productions and variety performances. The Queens Room is renowned for its Cunard Signature Afternoon Tea and live music in the evening.

However, the two most prestigious venues aboard the Queen Anne are arguably the Royal Court Theatre and the Pavilion. While the former brings West End productions and fascinating Cunard Insights talks to the high seas, the latter features a retractable glass dome roof and shows alfresco movies in partnership with the BFI.

Day 3 Bilbao (Getxo), Spain
Bilbao in Spain showing the Guggenheim Museum
Bilbao
Port Visit

Bilbao is the Basque Country's biggest city and one of the most intriguing and exciting destinations on the Iberian Peninsula. A down-on-its-luck industrial port city in the 80s and 90s, Bilbao underwent a spectacular renaissance, transforming itself into a beautifully modern and culturally rich city that hasn't forgotten its industrial heritage.

Cruise ships typically dock in Getxo, a smaller port 10 miles from Bilbao, so Limitless Travellers catch an accessible shuttle bus into the city centre. Here, the iconic and fully accessible Guggenheim Museum is the number one attraction, and we certainly recommend a visit. There are excellent cafes and restaurants around the Zubizuri Bridge and Chávarri Palace areas, and visitors can also book a sightseeing tour aboard the Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus.

Day 4 Santander, Spain
Santander, Spain Landscape Image
Port Visit

The capital of northern Spain’s Cantabria region, Santander stretches across a spectacular bay and is famous for its delicious seafood, striking beaches and excellent shopping. While much of the city burned down in the Great Fire of 1941, it has returned stronger than ever, and its youthful population ensures the city streets have a vibrant and energetic feel.

For Limitless Travellers, the Cathedral of Santander is one of the city’s biggest attractions. Featuring imposing gothic architecture, it benefits from ramped access and is largely accessible throughout. Close by, the Museum of Prehistory and Archaeology of Cantabria (MUPAC) explores the region’s deep past and guarantees a fascinating visit.

Day 5 Gijón, Spain
Gijon in Spain
Gijon
Port Visit

Once the focal point for the Asturian region’s important mining, steel and chemical industries, Gijón has transformed over the decades, becoming an energetic seaside city famous for its excellent food, great beaches and cultural attractions. As many of the city centre streets are now pedestrianised, it’s also a joy to explore.

Close to the shuttle drop-off area, the large Playa de Poniente beach is a great place to spend the day. The beach area is well-equipped for Limitless Travellers, and the surrounding harbour is home to plenty of bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a spot to eat or a refreshing beverage. For the more historically inclined, the Campo Valdes Roman baths are fully accessible and enable visitors to explore the region’s ancient history.

Day 6 At Sea
Customers and Limitless staff enjoying dinner at restaurant onboard cruise ship
Restaurants & Bars

With 31 restaurants, bars and lounges, you’re spoiled for choice aboard the Queen Anne. Finished in a range of styles to ensure there’s something for every kind of taste, the ship’s lounges include the nautically-themed Chart Room, the refined Carinthia Lounge, and a traditional British Pub, among others.

When it comes to mealtimes, you have a world of choice on the Queen Anne. While Cunard’s famous White Star Service is available at the Britannia restaurant, you can also choose from an array of other options, including the Mediterranean-inspired Tramonto, the Japanese flavours of Aji Wa, and India’s diverse and delicious cuisine in Aranya. With so much to choose from, you’re in for a treat!

Day 7 Cherbourg, France
Cherbourg, France
Port Visit

One of Normandy’s most important port cities and the second-largest artificial harbour in the world, historic Cherbourg has played an influential role in northern Europe’s history. From the Norman invasion through the Hundred Years War to the D-Day landings, it has been key to Anglo-Franco relations for over a millennium.

While the city centre is a 20-minute walk from the dock, there's plenty to do in the immediate vicinity. The spectacular Art Deco architecture of the La Cité de la Mer marine museum houses an aquarium, a nuclear ballistic missile submarine and an exhibit on the Titanic, which made its final stop in the city. The Musée Thomas Henry art museum contains work by both local and international artists and the city’s pretty marina features plenty of bars and restaurants.

Day 8 Southampton, UK
Cruise customers using the accessible gangway boarding the ship
Disembark & Home Drop-Off

Following your final breakfast aboard the ship, the Limitless team will assist with check-out. The ship’s crew will take down your bags, and we’ll help you disembark, make sure you reach your pick-up, and say our farewells. Your transfer will then get you home, dropping you off at your front door.

We can’t wait to see you on your next Limitless holiday!

How does Limitless assist with check in and boarding?

Having met the Limitless Team at the port, we'll accompany you to the special assistance check-in. As it's separate from regular check-in, there are no crowds or lengthy queues.

You'll then be given a boarding time. Usually, we board as a group. However, if this isn't possible and you would like the assistance, we ensure a carer accompanies you onto the ship.

We board via the accessible gangway. This ramp connects the ship to the port. If you require support or assistance, both the Limitless Team and the ship's crew will be on hand to help. There are also manual wheelchairs available to make this transfer easier.

On some ships, the accessible gangway can be a little steep. In these instances, two crew members will provide support - one in front and one behind. You'll never be rushed and your safety and comfort are always the priorities.

Remember, you don't need to pre-book any special assistance at the port! We provide this assistance as standard with all Limitless cruises.

What is Limitless Group Support & Holiday Assistance?

Group Support & Holiday Assistance is included as standard with all Limitless holidays. It's what sets us apart from every other UK holiday provider!

This level of support is suitable for those who do not require physical support, but may need a helping hand to make the most of their holiday experience. We provide this assistance in a group setting, so you must be able to support yourself if you intend to leave the group at any point.

They range from our Morning, Evening & Occasional Daytime Care package for travellers who require intermittent assistance with personal care to our One-to-One Care With Hoisting package for travellers who would benefit from comprehensive, all-day care.

We always recommend getting touch with your Personal Travel Advisor to discuss care packages. They are always on hand to answer questions, provide information, and make recommendations about the package they think is most suitable for you. You can contact Limitless on 0800 711 7112.

In addition to this, our care team will also reach out to you three months before your holiday to confirm you have everything you need to travel with complete confidence.

What are anchor ports and is Limitless responsible for port changes?

At Limitless Travel, we carefully select cruise itineraries with minimal anchor ports. Anchor ports are those destinations where port logistics mean a small boat or ‘tender’ transport is required to ferry guests to shore. In the vast majority of cases, these tenders are not accessible and some Limitless Travellers will not be able to leave the ship.

Unfortunately, port changes can happen due to any number of reasons while at sea. Limitless Travel cannot be held accountable for any such port changes.
