After three days in port, it’s time to kick back and relax by the pool! Why not start the day with a continental breakfast in your cabin or grab a bite in the alfresco pool bar? You can also catch up with your fellow Limitless Travellers in the Arvia’s SkyDome, enjoy a little me-time at the spa or watch one of the latest releases in the big-screen cinema.

Cadiz, Spain

Your final port before we head for home! Romantic Cadiz boasts thousands of years of history and has been one of Spain’s most important coastal cities for much of the country’s past. One of the spiritual homes of flamenco, it’s a city with a unique character and visible Arabic heritage, ensuring it’s an enchanting last stop on your cruise.

Almost entirely surrounded by water, Cadiz is one of the Iberian Peninsula’s hidden gems and a favourite amongst many Spanish travellers. The locals are known for their welcoming, down-to-earth character and the city’s restaurants are seafood specialists, so make sure you sit down for some fresh fish before you leave. Our care team will escort you to Plaza de España and the Batería de San Felipe (a canon lined fortress), both of which are within walking distance of the cruise terminal and are great spots to begin your exploration of this sun-soaked city.

What is the best month to go on a Mediterranean cruise?

The best month to embark on a Mediterranean cruise is often considered to be May or September. During these months, Mediterranean cruises offer the ideal balance of pleasant weather and smaller crowds.

The temperatures are warm enough for comfortable exploration without the intense heat of the peak summer months.

Additionally, these periods fall outside the busiest tourist seasons, allowing for a more relaxed experience while visiting popular cruise destinations along the Mediterranean coast.

How to choose a Mediterranean cruise?

Choosing a Mediterranean cruise with Limitless involves considering several factors to ensure a memorable experience. First, identify your preferred travel dates, keeping in mind that climate and crowd size vary throughout the year.

Consider the cruise that fits your schedule, and review the amenities and accessibility features, especially if travelling with any specific needs. Lastly, evaluate the overall cost, including any additional fees for excursions or onboard services.

We offer accessible Mediterranean cruises with features like home pick-up service and full-board accommodations in accessible cabins, ensuring a comfortable and inclusive experience for all travellers.

Are cruises good for disabled adults?

Yes, cruises are a fantastic option for disabled adults. Many modern cruise ships, including the P&O Arvia, are designed with accessibility in mind.

Features like wheelchair-accessible cabins, lifts, and ramps, as well as specialised services such as assistance at ports, make Mediterranean cruises an inclusive and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Cruise lines are committed to accommodating the needs of all passengers, ensuring that disabled adults can experience the beauty and culture of Mediterranean destinations with comfort and ease.
