The Only Way is... Cornwall!By Ross Lannon -
(The best place on Earth may I just add!)
Despite it being bloomin’ freezing 99% of the time… I’d definitely say it’s still up there as one of the best travel destinations.
Today I’ve teamed up with Limitless, to show why we all need some Kernow-loving in our lives. I’ll be sharing a few of my favourite hometown comforts, as well as some accessible tourist locations for you to check out.
If you’ve never been to Cornwall before, then first of all - shame on you!
One word… PASTIES.
Need I explain more? Where else in the world will you find the most traditional, beautifully crimped snack?! We even have our own pasty drive-thru. Yes, it’s a real thing guys!!
Besides the obvious food favourites (cheeky cream tea anyone?) - our stunning beaches are another key selling point. If you’re ever having a bad day, you’re usually no more than a 15-minute drive from the sea, or some other sort of scenic view.
Another popular Cornish attraction is The Eden Project. For those that don’t know, it’s the largest indoor rainforest IN THE WORLD. It hosts many ethical and themed events, whilst sustaining energy and supporting the local community. I recently went ice skating at The Eden Project in my electric wheelchair!
So if you’re like me and enjoy making making memories, grab your winter-warmers and head down South! As long as you don’t mind the odd tractor slowing you down or a seagull grabbing your chips… you’re in for a real treat!
