What 3 words would you use to describe travel and what it means to you?
CULTURE / FREEDOM / LIFE
If you were a country what country would you be and why?
I would be the UK - I’m feisty, cultured and outgoing , openminded and have a great sense of humour.
What is your favourite bar/restaurant?
As I live in East London and I have Hoxton Square and Shoreditch on my doorstop this is impossible to answer. Although I can never go wrong taking a stroll down Brick Lane and seeing what pop up restaurants are about .
Where did you eat your fave sandwich?
I have no clue but I do remember of going through a phase of making my own white bread with salad and lashings of salad cream sandwiches. Just salad and salad cream, no ham or cheese. I’ve snapped out of it now don’t worry.
Where have you been that genuinely took your breath away?
MEXICO! I've been 3 times now as my best friend is Mexican so we go most years. The country is breath taking and so diverse. I’m in love and would move in a heart beat. Just flying into Mexico airport at night is breathtaking, then going to Cancun or Acapulco. I have still much of Mexico to explore.
What one piece of advice would you give for accessible travellers?
Mexico in some respects is more accessible than places in Europe. The first thing I noticed at Mexico city airport was that almost 10% of staff were wheelchair users.
What's your funniest travel moment?
My funniest travel moments often involve me having to go to the toilet in things that aren’t toilets. I will leave it at that.
Where have you been where you felt most at home, away from home?
Well I was born in Germany and my mum is German so I have family there in particular my Grandmother, so Germany is very much a home from home.
Where have you visited that you could see yourself living?
Mexico - I always wanted to live in London and now I am

Where do you hope to visit in five years time?
I really want to go to L.A one part of USA i’ve not been to.
Which book would you recommend to take travelling?
Anything by Jodi Picoult
Would you rather go into space or explore the depths of the ocean?
Well I’m scared of sharks and I have brittle bones so neither. I did enjoy the film passengers though, does that count?
