Experience the delights and beauty of the Lake District countryside with a 5 day trip on board one of Limitless Travel's luxury coaches. From prehistoric lakes to snow-capped mountaintops, The Lake District is home to some of the most remarkable scenery in the UK!

The Lake District is known for being one of the most scenic and relaxing leisure destinations in the UK. Take in the beauty of the Lakes by footpath and also aboard an accessible paddle-steamer on a tour with us. With stunning surroundings the Lake District is a place to relax and unwind, but also provides opportunities to taste some excellent food and drink in historic pubs and restaurants. With everything from walks and hikes to arts and crafts, the Lake District has something for everyone.


The Trip

An overview of the trip

Spend five fabulous days exploring the wonders of The Lake District on a completely Disabled-Friendly holiday. Limitless Travel will look after all of your needs so you can focus on relaxing and taking a break! We will support you throughout your trip to ensure you have the best holiday.

On each trip there will be a guide with a wealth of local knowledge. They will be available at all times to show you around the wonderful sites and the best places to visit. There will also be a full-time assistant on board who will cater to any of your care needs throughout the trip, so that you can focus on having a truly wonderful holiday. 

Our first trip will run from the 25th - 29th June 2018 with prices starting at £745 per person. The price includes:

  • All transport to and from The Lake District from our UK wide pick up points
  • Travel throughout your trip whilst exploring The Lake District
  • Bed and Breakfast accommodation in a fully accessible hotel
  • A full itinerary of great activities and things to do
  • A guide throughout your trip who is full of local knowledge

Prices for the tour start £745 per person based on 2 people sharing a double or twin room.

The price includes four nights' hotel accommodation, breakfast, all transport to and from The Lake District in luxury vehicles with reclining leather seats, all transport around The Lake District, an experienced guide, full-time assistance if required, plus many more exciting features.

In order to confirm your place on the trip, we require a 20% deposit to be paid at the time of booking. The final balance will be due 60 days prior to departure.

If you are a solo traveller, please ask us about single person supplements.

The Itinerary

Find out more about what you can expect from the tip

Day 1: We will travel up to The Lake District on the coach, taking in several scenic spots on the way. We will arrive in the Lake District in the afternoon and from here, you will have the opportunity to explore the wonderful scenery , and we will spend the evening relaxing in the hotel or a local pub.

Day 2: After a hearty full English breakfast, we will take a stroll around one of The Lake Districts beautiful lakes on paths that are smooth and flat – specifically designed for wheelchairs, mobility aids and scooters. As well as being able to take in the beauty of the English countryside, you can rest assured that there will be no unanticipated obstacles. The best part is, there is always an ice cream waiting for you at the end!

Day 3: After another great breakfast, today we will go for a ride on Lake Windermere on a completely accessible old-fashioned paddle steamer. This is an authentic and leisurely way to enjoy the serenity of the lake. You will be left breathless by the stunning scenery that surrounds you. Then the evening will be spent sitting back, relaxing and putting your feet up in one of the Lake Districts gorgeous historic pubs. Treat yourself to a tipple and some lovely home cooked grub and watch the world go by!

Day 4: Our last full day is all about culture. Immerse yourself in the local culture and history by taking a tour of the renowned Blackwell Arts and Crafts House. Spend the afternoon taking yourself back to a bygone age and enjoy a wonderful cream tea in a beautiful Victorian hotel.

Day 5: Once we have tucked into our final breakfast and packed up our belongings we will start our journey home. Relax, unwind and take in the sights as we travel our way home through the stunning English countryside. We will say goodbye to The Lake District, until next time!

The Coach

We travel on luxury accessible coaches

We will travel to the lake district on a fully accessible, luxury 35 seater coach which includes four spaces for wheelchairs to be clamped. You will travel in style throughout your holiday with premium leather seats throughout, air conditioning and an accessible lift so you don't have to worry about climbing stairs.
