5 Day Tour
Spend 5 Days Exploring the Wonders of Devon
Each area of the county offers something different to explore. In North Devon you’ll be well placed to visit some of the UK’s best beaches and in South Devon you’ll be afforded the chance to visit unparalleled fishing villages and the popular city of Plymouth. Mid Devon is home to the county’s capital city, Exeter, where you’ll find a rich history coupled with a modern, cosmopolitan feel. For those seeking something more relaxed, East Devon is the home of countless hidden treasures and beautiful coastal areas such as Beer. The county is also home to two National Parks, Exmoor and Dartmoor. Other popular areas in the county include the English Riviera and the South Hams which are considered among the best holiday destinations in the country.
All of our coaches are wheelchair accessible, with spaces for your wheelchair to be clamped into place, removing the need to transfer from your wheelchair to a seat. The coach is equipped with a lift at the rear, and the interior is modern and spacious.
We will stay in a 3 or 4 star hotel that we have chosen specifically for its accessibility and location. Our hotel in Devon is situated close to a pub overlooking the river, and passengers have the option to dine here on one the evenings.

Day 2: After a refreshing breakfast and a chance to sleep off the previous day's travel, we will venture into Torquay. Whilst you may remember it as the home of Basil Fawlty and the infamous Fawlty Towers, Torquay is a wonderful town and a great place to start a holiday. This vibrant Victorian seaside resort has a wealth of treats to offer. The day will be spent wandering through the streets of Torquay where there are plenty of opportunities for ice creams, afternoon teas or a trip to the pub!
Day 3: From Torquay we will set off on the bus to explore the beautiful beaches of South Devon. These beaches are often voted as the best in the UK and are easily accessible. For the more adventurous, we dare you to take a dip in the waters! When not at the beach you will have countless opportunities to absorb the breathtaking scenery that this area is renowned for with lots of photo stops.
Day 4: After another scrumptious breakfast at our hotel we will leave Torquay to make our way up to North Devon in order to see the wonders the area has to offer. On the way, we will visit Dartmoor National Park, an area of unrivalled natural beauty. We will drive around the park and visit some of the best spots. Afterwards, we shall stop for a picnic lunch in one of their picnic areas, complete with accessible picnic benches. Mid-afternoon sees our arrival at Ilfracombe, our location for the night. The rest of the day will be yours to either take time relaxing in our hotel or to visit Ilfracombe's delights.
Day 5: This is our fifth and final day in Devon, but one of our favourites! Once we have packed up our belongings and had our final fill of breakfast, we will head down to the famous Tunnels Beaches at Ilfracombe. "The Tunnels Beaches" are a network of hand carved tunnels leading to unique sheltered beaches and a Victorian tidal bathing pool. The ground throughout the tunnels is either paved or concrete, the beach is accessed by a gentle slope and beach wheelchairs can be hired to use on the beaches. After you've had lunch at one of the many great cafes lining the beach, we will begin our journey back home and say goodbye to Devon - until next time!
