About Royal National Hotel

The Imperial Hotel is the flagship of Imperial London Hotels. We're proud of it for a reason. Offering breathtaking views over London's greatest public square, it reflects every ounce of our dedication to service and value.

Like all our hotels, the Imperial combines a remarkable location with the great facilities and friendly service of a family-run business. At the Imperial, though, while the price remains extremely reasonable, we add an extra dash of something special. The location is remarkable, connecting guests to the rest of London in minutes. In addition to the central Atrium Bar & Cafe, facilities include a casino, a hair salon and a Chinese herbalist.

Restaurants and cafés offer plenty of choice to families and business travellers alike. Indulge in the intriguing delights of Coffee and Candy. Enjoy a late night at the Night and Day Bar, serving classic pub fare at great prices. And relax; we've been doing this since 1837, and we know how to make your stay a restful one.

OK - could do with a refurb and a few adjustments

by Ana Lourdes

This venue is huge and caters to mainly international young people on coach tours.

I am an electric wheelchair user accompanied by the most beautiful and clever assistance dog ever.

- staff are mostly lovely and willing to do anything they can to help
- flat access
- large shower room (not a genuine wetroom)
- restaurants are easy to maneuver
- very central and easy to get to buses, services, etc

- No peepholes in door
- no door assist/ auto-open doors, heavy doors.
- "accessible" rooms not listed on website- have to buy a high grade then call them to change it
- emergency pull cords fall more than 24 inches short of floor
- beds don't lock in place
- room very cold, no heat, room dropped below 10C. Very drafty windows
- Managers ignorant of concept of reasonable adjustments
- needs refurb dingy, old, tired decor
- loud and chaotic environment
- very crowded lobby
- had to beg to get in door/smokers block foyer door
- room too small to manoeuvre easily
- No BSL/ Braille

Old, small room but clean

by Andrew Lace

Old, small room but clean. Booked through a sports tour. Couple of tube stops from Emirates Stadium. Room was small for two people as was the bathroom / toilet. Breakfast was continental with 5 pound extra for English breakfast. Handy to Russell Square tube station
