Superhero Series 2018By Limitless Travel -
Team Limitless are taking part in Superhero Series on the 18th August 2018 and have been set the mission to raise £657 for The Muscle Help Foundation, £1 for every muscle in the human body. Superhero Series is a triathlon aimed at raising awareness of disability, where people with disabilities call the shots and don’t have to worry about cut-off times or equipment restrictions.
The Muscle Help Foundation is a charity working tirelessly to deliver transformational, highly personalised experiences known as Muscle Dreams. They work with children and young people in the UK with the muscle wasting disease Muscular Dystrophy and allied neuromuscular conditions.
Every dream is an opportunity for an individual to realise their potential and for their family and friends, each one opens up a support network of like-minded individuals.
That’s the power of their promise, that’s the #powerof657
Why we are so passionate about working with Muscle Help?
I am passionate about supporting the muscle help foundation because I love their ethos and their commitment to providing great experiences for people with muscular dystrophy. In a similar way to Limitless Travel, Muscle help focus on the positives and on enhancing and enriching the lives of disabled people. As a person with muscular dystrophy myself I couldn’t think of a better charity to support and a better person than Michael McGrath in delivering “muscle dreams”.
- Angus Drummond, CEO
'I was diagnosed with Emery-Dreifuss Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 19, and I am a full-time wheelchair user. I am lucky to experienced what I have all down to the immense support from my family and friends. Muscle Help's Dreams provide the chance for a young person to experience something they thought they never would... it is a cause that is extremely close to my heart and I want to do everything I can to help!'
