1. Houses of Parliament
After a devastating fire in 1834 most of this iconic building had to be rebuilt in the mid-19th century, however the Westminster Hall survived the fire and dates back to 1097. Explore the route taken by the Queen at State Opening of Parliament, enter the Commons Chamber and visit the hall where Guy Fawkes was tried and Nelson Mandela addressed Parliament. The beauty of its architecture is incredible, a definite must see.
2. Tower of London
As one of the world’s most famous buildings, the Tower of London has an extremely rich history and many stories to tell. Gaze up at the White Tower as you pass the home to the Crown Jewels right in the heart of our capital city. Throughout its 900-year history it has been a royal palace, a prison, a place of execution, a jewel house and even a zoo!
