Limitless Travel the 'Holiday Angels'By Niamh Duffy -
Our customers are our main priority, so receiving feedback like this truly does bring a smile to our faces. We are so glad you enjoyed your holiday with Limitless and we hope to have you on board again soon. #LimitlessLove to Lynn & Keith!
Having just enjoyed a very special and wonderful holiday in Devon, I want to share with everyone just what made this so different to any other coach holiday. Let me first start by telling you that my husband has, among his many ailments, only one leg. This means he is confined to a wheelchair.
I also have breathing problems and arthritis, which limits any capabilities. Having taken cruises in the past, although they are extremely relaxing, we are now at a stage where we can’t afford them, My husband cannot get in or out of an ordinary car and a train or plane are not an option, so the only way to travel would be by to hire a wheelchair taxi or travel by coach. It is the latter which I wish to tell you about.
Having contacted a number of well-known coach companies that run package holidays, not one of them had the facility of a lift to raise a wheelchair on to the coach. This left me feeling extremely despondent, as I had no idea how we were going to have a holiday away.
Enter the Holiday Angels!
A company in Birmingham called Limitless Travel run coach package holidays in England and abroad. They are a relatively new company run and owned by Angus Drummond, who himself suffers from Muscular Dystrophy. Angus has an excellent crew to assist him and his passengers throughout a tour.
The coaches are well-equipped with the ability to take five wheelchairs which are boarded via a lift built into the coach. They also carry equipment such as bath seats, bed rails, toilet raisers, hoists etc, etc, so no passenger needs to struggle without assistance in the accessible hotels picked specially for the tour.
Well done to Angus and all his team who were so kind and helpful to us during our time with them, and I would urge any person who has a disability and who is afraid to travel on their own or with care support, contact Limitless Travel…”
