Meet our Care Team!

By Niamh Duffy -

Our care team is what makes us stand out from everyone else. They are dedicated, caring and always there to lend a hand. To celebrate National Carer’s Week 2017 we thought we would introduce a few of our care team to help with the campaign to raise awareness, highlight the challenges faced and recognise the contribution carers make throughout the UK.

Limitless Care Assistant

I used to be a stay at home Mum, then became a registered child carer when my own children went to school. I started caring to help out a friend until 2002. In 2006 I joined Marie Curie where I looked after terminally ill people in their homes overnight. When Angus found me and I joined the Limitless team, I had stopped working at Marie Curie to care for my great niece for 8 months.

Limitless Care Assistant

I started 5 and a half years ago in domiciliary care, looking after people in their own homes. Loved it from the beginning… although the first day I started I went home and cried my eyes out! It's so hidden how people suffer, especially the elderly, losing their independence and their ability to do the simplest things is devastating to watch! Especially those who have no family! Even worse are the ones who do have family but they just don't care! It's heart-breaking! But makes me want to work even harder to make things better for them. I love making them smile and even doing the smallest things for them makes such a difference to their lives.
I left the care company I started with and am now a self employed carer, I currently look after 3 ladies with differing needs as well as working with Limitless Travel.

Carers aims to raise awareness of caring, highlight the challenges carers face and recognise the contribution they make to families and communities throughout the UK. If you want to support this campaign pledge now on >>
