About Wollaton Hall Gardens & Deer Park

Though it may now be more famous as the home of Bruce Wayne in the recent Batman movies, Wollaton Hall has a long history stretching back to its initial construction in the 1580s. A grand and stately home on the edge of the city centre, it boasts impressively large grounds where deer and other wildlife can be spotted grazing throughout the year.

The interior of the building has been renovated and remodelled a number of times and houses a museum dedicated to the history of the building. On site there is also Nottingham's Natural History Museum, its Industrial Museum and the Yard Gallery. The grounds also play host to a wide variety of cultural events, including concerts, specialised tours and festivals.
