About Symphony Hall

The impressive Symphony Hall is considered one of the finest concert halls in the world and hosts a variety of music performances all year round. Whether it's jazz, classical, folk, spoken word or dance, the Hall consistently attract the world's greatest artists and has become one of the most important music venues in the country.

 

Containing a total 2,262 seats, it has been commended for its superb acoustics and an excellent interior design, based on music halls in Vienna and Amsterdam. With the installation of a 6000-pipe symphony organ in 2001, it is also now home to the largest mechanical action organ in the UK.
